Erin Broussard
Erin is a native of Maurice, Louisiana. She attended North Vermilion High School in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana and then went on to become a 2009 graduate of the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana where she received her bachelor’s degree with a major in general studies and a minor in criminal justice. Erin worked in the banking industry, was a Licensed Property, Casualty, Life, and Health insurance agent for Allstate Insurance for two years, a Deputy Criminal Clerk for the Vermilion Parish Clerk of Court for 11+ years, and a Legal Clerk for the 15th Judicial District Public Defender’s Office for two years. Erin earned her Paralegal Certification through the University of Louisiana in Lafayette in February 2026 and is currently studying to become a Notary Public. She is a mother of two children and enjoys sporting events, traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with family.
