Erin Broussard

Erin is a native of Maurice, Louisiana. She attended North Vermilion High School in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana and then went on to become a 2009 graduate of the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana where she received her bachelor’s degree with a major in general studies and a minor in criminal justice. Erin worked in the banking industry for one year, was a Licensed Property, Casualty, Life, and Health insurance agent for Allstate Insurance for two years, a Deputy Criminal Clerk for the Vermilion Parish Clerk of Court for 11+ years and then worked as a Legal Clerk for the 15th Judicial District Public Defender’s Office for two years.   

Erin is currently pursuing her Para-Legal certification through the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. She is scheduled to complete her certification in February of 2026. Erin is a single mother with two children. She enjoys sporting events, traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with family.
